Actor Michael James Scott was recently spotted at the BoxLunch Gala wearing our pink Hugo Pants.
Scott is probably best-known for playing the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway (New York City), London, and Australia, as well as on the North American Tour. He has also appeared in the acclaimed Book of Mormon, Mamma Mia, and Hair, among others.
Earlier in his career, Scott was the standby for the legendary American actor, dancer, and singer Ben Vereen for the international tour of Fosse, and took over the role at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris.
A recipient of the Helpmann Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, Scott can also be seen in the new Showtime TV series Black Monday.
The BoxLunch Gala was held in honor of Feeding America, a US-wide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs that feed over 40 million people annually.
